Verizon Wireless makes a 45% profit margin. The U.S. cell phone carriers are huge ripoffs. I'm amazed that all those people with iPhones pay $90 a month and think this is a good value.

Luckily there are some sane prices coming into the market with Metro PCS, Virgin Mobile, etc but then you are limited to lame phones. Nothing using WebOS or Andriod.

It looks just like the old Hydro Thunder, which is a good thing. Funny though that the "real" successor to Hydro Thunder, H2Overdrive, isn't coming to XBLA.

I presume that a 3D standard will also require a new HDMI spec, which will mean new set top boxes and DVRs in addition to a new TV.

I just got a Kodak p725 and it has no branding, just a simple (and thin) black border around the screen, which is of pretty high quality and resolution.
