I agree with you 100% and when activision decided to try this lawsuit I decided I will be gameflying MW2 and then keeping it. That makes it cheaper and my money does not go straight to Activision.

Danny, like Batzarro points out there are still many living veterans of WWII which was a MUCH more gruesome war than this. These people witnessed true horror in WWII and we sensationalize it in games and movies all the time and no one cares.

Also regarding this game in particular I don't care if it's 2 years or 70 years "too soon" is a weak thing to say. when is the right time? When is it not too soon? I have never heard someone complain that a movie based on a real life situation was "too soon." Black hawk Down is a prime example, but no one bitched about that. To me if this game was going to be decent Konami should have had the balls to back it regardless of this retarded controversy. would I have played the game? I have no idea, but if it was a solid game I would have. Now I may never have that chance because it's "toon soon."

Rayza game for game the 360 blows the PS3 out of the water. As a media device they are even. As a next gen optical format player the PS3 wins with it's Blu Ray capabilities. Both consoles can also do 1080p.

As far as the motion stuff goes, it is pretty much useless. If I play a game with the option for motion controls 9 out of 10 times I turn them off, as the games are more fun without.

On topic though I hope MS just releases a Blu Ray add-on, not a new console with Blu Ray built in. If the drive is built in there will be a point where someone will make a game that needs the Blu Ray drive, which will effectively rule out the majority of owners from playing it. They need to stick it out with DVD for the rest of the 360's life cycle and then with the next Xbox slap a Blu Ray drive in it and call it a day.

The PS3 should be more than capable of decoding DTS HD MA with no problem. They just need to get it figured out. The processor in the PS3 is more powerful than the processor in any other Blu Ray player, so why couldn't it?

You also have the rest of your facts messed up man, plain and simple. The only way that True HD and Uncompressed PCM will sound worse than Dobly Digital is if you don't have the proper set-up and then it's still debatable. The PS3 sends the audio out in a Linear PCM stream, meaning it is completely decoded when it is sent to the receiver. If your receiver supports LPCM through HDMI then the receiver simply sends the sounds to the speakers, all the decoding of the audio is done in the PS3. This is the same result as a receiver decoding the audio and outputting the sound.

I had Beowulf in my queue and as of yesterday it was HD DVD with a long wait. As of this afternoon it was DVD with a wait.

So they seem to have gotten the HD DVD of this movie in, but are no longer going to offer it now.

I really think Warner will go red if they go one way or the other. The fact red has more dedicated players in the market for one is a big deal. The fact red has a finalized spec that allows for teh advanced features Warner has been using all the time on HD DVD, not to mention internet access on every player. Warner is one of the studios that has taken advantage of the advanced features from teh start, including internet, so I can't see them going Blu exclusive when it would be a step back in interactivity.

Warner just seems to favor HD DVD at this time. I personally hope they go red, but we will see. Overall it isn't going to hurt me much as I am a purple supporter, but I favor HD DVD if I have the choice.
