Tecmo Bowl at the arcade. Good times.

Tecmo Bowl, the original arcade version. I actually never played any of the other versions.

Stackers was kind of fun too though.

Gaming to Go: Picross DS

I love this game. I *finally* got my WiFi working at home and have been going crazy catching up on classic puzzles. :)

DS Daily: What would you have done?

Camera and music playing, to me, implies a change of heart re: storing stuff on the DS. Could it be more homebrew-friendly, perhaps?

Higher quality audio. What with all the homebrew, Electroplankton, and Korg DS-10... even Let's Yoga... I'm really feeling let down by the noisy, lo-fi audio output. Sometimes it's cool, but as a musician I want to *control* that.

And two touch screens, rather than one touch and one passive. I don't care about multitouch.

Homebrew is awesome, and Nintendo should legitimize it.

Short of that, there is absolutely nothing illegal or immoral about using an R4/M3/etc. to run homebrew software.

Fanswag: Win a signed copy of Soul Bubbles

Definitely Thief. I was playing that at work at night. Whenever a coworker would make a noise, I'd freeze because I'd think it'd get the attention of the guards. Whenever I'd have to take a bathroom break, I had to fight the urge to stick to the shadows.

Cobalt & Black for the win! :)

Homebrew and openness for the win.

Anti-piracy should not mean crippling devices, stifling innovation, and punishing honest users.

I will admit, I have downloaded exactly one "pirated" ROM -- because I was mildly curious and there was no demo available.

I bought a legit copy the next day... and it's not something I ever would have bought to find out whether I liked it.
