Metroid Dread concept is something Sakamoto 'can't say never existed'

Mar 12th 2010 1:25PM (Joystiq)
I'd love to see the original Legend of Zelda get the "Zero Mission" treatment. That is to say, a fresh coat of paint (better graphics/sounds), an improved save system, and a usable map. In my wildest fantasies, this would be released on the GBA, but in reality, I accept that system to now be dead.

I'll just leave this right here, where folks can find it:

The release of Metroid Fusion for the GBA. It was a perfect blend of retro nostalgia and (then) current design sensibilities.

Joystiq hands-on: Halo Interactive Strategy Game

Ahh, there's nothing I love better than stating an opinion, then closing off all attempts at debate with a punctuating declaration of "FACT".

How many 24 hour TV networks are there dedicated to Chess competitions worldwide? Is it zero? I think it's zero.

Wéiqí/Igo/Go is a vastly superior game to Chess in every conceivable way. If you prefer Chess because you don't -get- Go, that's your fault, not Go's. FACT

I mean this with all the seriousness of a Brawndo commercial. Besides, I prefer Through the Ages ( http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/25613 ).

My games are all specially engineered for me by a time traveling programmer from the future. Unfortunately for me, he's is neither talented nor mature: Everything he sends me is a poorly rendered Pac-Man clone.

Fanswag: win a custom Mass Effect Xbox 360 Elite [update]

Another massive effect that this will have on me is that I'll finally be able to play Geometry Wars as nature intended, instead of squinting at my NDS screen or playing some online knockoff.

The third way that winning this would have a massive effect on my life is that I would probably start eying some HD-DVD discs I've seen in bargain bins.

And for my second entry, another massive effect this would have would be to replace my old-fashioned original XBox as my game system of choice. By winning the 360, I won't have to settle for Jade Empire or KotOR when I want to get my bioware fix.

Yes, I just said "settle for KotOR." I hear Mass Effect is that good, though.
