I had the same issues shawn didnt know if it was just my isp or not. It was funny tuesday no one on my friends list (3 signed on) had the game, so they were all asking me how it was while I was playing. Then last night I got on and there were 10 people signed on and 9 were playing GOW. It is amazing. I just wish my coworker could play his, but he popped it in and red ringed last night, :(

Its going to pale in comparison to the 17th and The So"rr"ny launch. My local toys r us is hiring 2 security guards for that day since they are only getting 6 units....

I want to pass on the browser. That is all I need is Sony Fanboys creating viruses that only affect the 360. The red rings of death are enough. Had another friend lose his last night when putting in GOW for the time, OUCH. I would like to see option though. I dont like FPS games on the pc but I have a lot of friends that do like them. Might sell more units.

you summed it up great Waffle best 70 dollars I have ever spent, was hard to come into work today that is forsure. The online I played last night was amazing, played a death match with 6 other guys it was 4 on 3. Probably the most intense multiplayer game I have ever played. Close quarters and you feel like you are about to get ambushed at any time, being hunted. Hard to describe, GET THIS GAME NOW....or Get a PS3 and Fool of Man....

Yes it is worth the risk, what other machine would you get? WII? Hardware similar to the gamecube, or the PSIII with no games anyone wants to play? Why not take the chance just for GOW, COD3 and of course Rainbow Six?

I actually got mine before launch, won in a contest, had no issues till the godfather came out, put that game in, saw the title screen then screen locked and 3 red rings came up, that was about a month ago. It was only gone a week for repair. So no, not all of us are doing anything to our consoles, just put in the wrong game I guess. I heard dead rising did the same thing to some peoples machines. Here is hoping GOW wont! Maybe it will mow my lawn too, wait that is the PS3. Which toys r us guy told me they are now only getting 4 at launch, lol. And they critized 360s launch....

Very nice comments there. Yes we are morons. Not all of us move our 360s while disks are in, set them on heating vents etc. As far as being glad to not have us on xbox live? I have been on xbox live far longer than you have sir. We are not to blame here for the most part. On my particular red light incident all I did was put in The Godfather, a game I really didnt have much interest in playing but it came in the mail from gamefly, saw the title screen and the system never came back. So should we not do the update I assume? Mine was built in Nov. 2005, it red ring of deathed on me a month ago. Havent played it much since getting it back, no problems thus far. But with gears coming out this week. I dont want to take a chance on killing my unit! I think I am going to unhook my 360 from the net till this is fixed, not worth the risk.
