Sums things up really.
Fault! Sega Superstars Tennis to lack online play
Feb 9th 2008 9:42PM (Joystiq Nintendo)I still blame Nintendo who are too busy counting their money to realise they need to get a proper online structure worked out, with some kind on console registered friends lists and the option for voice comms between those friends via a headset. Most developers seem clearly don't take Wii online seriously and I think is the reason they don't bother spending any time working on it.
Another game I'll be buying on the 360 then, yes I do have friends(that I go to the pubs with) but I also happen to have alot more gaming friends that I play regularly online who live miles away. Nintendo seem to think we all have massive living rooms and all our family & friends want to come around & play*slaps head*
Wii Warm Up: On Mario Kart Wii
Feb 7th 2008 9:26AM (Joystiq Nintendo)Pretty happy with the announced additions to MarioKart so far, 12 player online should be a blast, especially when playing with friends only(although I wish they'd allow us voice comms for freinds games).
Can't wait for this game! The only reason I've kept hold of my Wii to be honest.
Wii Warm Up: Mario Kart vs. Wii Fit
Jan 29th 2008 12:33PM (Joystiq Nintendo)There's alot of hype and hope for the board itself, but to be honest I think it will be yet another "Wii" glimpse of future potential rather than something to revolutionise gaming, just as most of the Wii waggling disappointingly has shown for the revolutionary remote.
If they get MarioKart right, and better still release an online headset(to allow communication between FRIENDS) prior to release, then it will become the most played game on the Wii for the consoles entire life cycle, this much I don't doubt! MarioKart for me either way, reason I bought a Wii in the first place(before it was even announced).
Wii releases for the week of January 28th
Jan 28th 2008 11:52AM (Joystiq Nintendo)Wii online is seems to be neglected from every corner, almost as if the majority of developers have given up on it.
Guess I'll just have to stick with Bomberman Live for now.
Wii Warm Up: How many delays?
Jan 25th 2008 11:14AM (Joystiq Nintendo)Annoys me with Nintendo the way they just love to keep us in the dark, often leaving titles penciled in for certain dates until they've past before telling us what we've by that time already figured out, "delayed, you don't say?"
There hasn't been any new info on this game since it was announced last May, with exception some really ropey video showing off the Bikes, no new videos, screens, hands-on previews, details, nothing! Thanks for keeping me up to date about my favourite franchise Nintendo!
Anyway, at the end of the day if they hold it back until an online headset is released all the better, I'll wait.... and before people reply with the "but the online abuse you'll hear!" comments, I just want to have a laugh with my mates online as I do most nights on Xbox Live, not play in silence like it's a single player game with better AI.

Jan 23rd 2008 10:55AM (Joystiq Nintendo)Sega Superstars Tennis boxart misses a Beat
Jan 22nd 2008 8:10PM (Joystiq Nintendo)Seriously the Wii needs more online games, can't see the excuse for this one as it would make a great online game(in this case even without the sometimes sadly missed headset).
Unless the remote/nunchuk controls make the Wii version the definitive choice I'll be going for the 360 version due to online play adding so much replay value. Local multiplayer can be great but when you're "local" friends get bored of the game that's it!
Wii Warm Up: No More Heroes vs Endless Ocean
Jan 22nd 2008 11:43AM (Joystiq Nintendo)It's times like this I really wish the Wii had downloadable demos as that's the best way to find out if a game clicks with you or not, I can't judge that from the various mixed opinions on either game until I try them out for myself.
