I should like the winnings please.

I like the fact that I can get introduced to new bands this way. Sure I would love to rock out to more Who (Who wouldn't - ha ha), but I know that I already love that band. I really dug The Sounds (a DLC band from around the holidays) and I like the groove of the Maximo Park song from this set. Also The Materials have some decent potential (and my fiancee wants more female vocalist songs in game). I like seeing new stuff in addition to classics and bands that are currently popular.

Actually, I find it really heartening that these are the things that we are worried about when it comes to the presentation of AoC. Note that we aren't complaining about content or mechanics, but rather the icing on this very robust and smoothly launched cake. I think that metaphor got away from me there at the end, but I think my point is still well made.

AoC has the makings of a very well received and played MMO that has some important ramifications for the genre as a whole. Further, if the concerns that we have are with the UI, I've heard in the OOC chat in-game that there are *already* UI mods available. Not bad for a game that's been out a week.

I think the longest single stretch on a console was 18+ hours trying to beat Wild Arms 3 back in college. I hated that game so much that I just had to beat it and move on with my life.

On my PC I must have done about that or more on either WoW or LotRO.
