From the view of a registered independent here is a general summary of what I've read in the thread:

Republicans: Waterboarding is preferctly fine and dandy because it isn't torture; and even if it were it would still be ok because the democrats hate it and hate America because they attack conservatives and don't declare the president as the second coming of Jesus like the rest of us do. Liberals suck. Liberals, liberals, liberals, liberals....

Democrats: You guys are morons. waterboarding is defined as torture.

Everyone else: This article sucks (I disagree, but oh well)
