Sony hid out a few pieces of the functionality; apparently on top of being an amazing multimedia machine, it also makes really awesome ham sandwiches and will take your kids to school. The $600 version? It'll scrub your floors and download porn for right when you get off of work.

Umm, I guess my point is that It's great and all... but 99.9% of what I do with it will be "Insert game, Play."

@ Everyone bickering about the PS3:
$600 is in fact a good chunk of change, buuuuuut considering the amount they packed into that (very oversized) case it's almost worth it. Besides, just like every other system, it'll get cheaper by the following gift-giving holiday. So make sure you have a rich friend and a savings account. he puts six hundred in sony, you put six hundred in the bank; come christmas 2k7 eeeeveryone's happy. The Wii isn't underpowered btw, we're just used to the abuse the PS2 takes to play such awesome games.
