Halo Battle Chess was the April Fools (or maybe just a random gag) from Bungie last year if memory serves me.

@Dance Mofo I agree. I bought this game on XBLA and I never even finished the first level. Would have been so much better if they would have just done like Capcom did with Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix. Original game-play with redrawn sprites would have been awesome.

The thing most exciting about this release for me is the thought of the game not being limited by the poor performance of the Java VM.

Now if they would just release another patch to fix some of the worst bugs (such as the ones in The Wizards Tower and Orrery).

The subtitle makes perfect sense for the japanese release. It has to be 350x more pretentious than the english version if they even want people to look at it. Now if they can just replace whats his face with an emo guy who looks like a girl they should have a hit in that market.

Personally I think they have gotten carried away with subtitles on both games and movies. Many of them are completely meaningless and nearly all of them are unnecessary.

This is pretty awesome news even though I don't collect any comics and even back when I did was never a big fan of what DC was offering. I am just hoping the other publishers follow along and start doing this as well. Last time I checked the few titles I might read from Marvel weren't even available digitally at all.

God what I wouldn't give for a good console space combat game. Really wish Colony Wars would get rebooted.

If I had an iPad I would subscribe to Atomix in a second. They have really taken the idea of an iPad magazine to the next level. The Daily looks neat as well but it looks likes someone digitized a print magazine and adjusted the formatting and added in a bit of interactivity for the most part. Also Atomix covers more of the type of stuff that I am interested in.

Snow Leopard is my main cat on both my main computer (Macbook) and my secondary (Core i5 Hackintosh) but we also have another Macbook still running Leopard and an eMac running Tiger that i mainly used as a fax and email machine these days. For the most part I am a semi-early adopter. I usually wait for the first point release before I upgrade.

Whatever they do I just hope they go back to a more user serviceable design than the current one.

And I second the dual hard drive option. Been thinking about removing my almost never used SuperDrive so that I can install a dedicated disk for Windows.
