"I want to know, who delights in seeing people hurt and tortured? What sick minds want to see this?" Pretty much people in every civilization since the dawn of man? We don't have the Roman Collisseum anymore, now we have Hostel. If you don't want your children to see movies like that, be a parent. Don't let them. Do some research on what you feel is or is not appropriate for your children. But don't shove that "blame Hollywood" spiel down our throats, or "movies are so much worse today," because neither are true. Hollywood wouldn't make the movies that they do if people weren't going to see them.

I just finally cracked into Dead Space today on PS3 after recently finishing A Boy and His Blob. I might get down on some more Uncharted 2 multiplayer, but probably not as much as I cracked out on it last week when it was double cash weekend.

It depends on how well they are paced. DQ8 is an excellent example of how to pace an 80 hour game. I prefer longer games to short for the most part, but there needs to be content that is entertaining to play, not just filler to trudge through.

I wish they'd tell us the system specs then, so I know what I'm going to need.

I would gift Galaga, because that game is made of win.
