The video looks fine, my concern is that the gameplay doesn't look all that changed. Great, Snake can now roll onto his belly and use camoflauge. That isn't exactly anything new.

Obviously Konami has some time to spice up the game, but the gameplay doesn't look as smooth or as different from any other action or adventure game in the past four years.

It's hardly a list on toilets unless it has Goldeneye. That game was on the forefront of toilets in games. That game was an inovator. After it came out, every game had headshots, exploding barrels, mission objectives, and, of course, a toilet somewhere in the game.

Shame, Maxim, shame.

I really like it.

It's good to see a game with some style and artistic merit, instead of the usual attempt at photo-realism.

I think it takes some cajones to try and do something different. To try and make a videogame that looks like a videogame (of all things).

I'm also happy to see anything from this game.

Why can't you people handle a little grammar humor?

As far as the zombie genre goes: Zombies aren't real. So you can do whatever you want with them and as long as they shamble and aren't too bright, they're still zombies. Writers shouldn't be beholden to what Romero did to zombies-- after all, he just revised what other movies did with the monster and made it his own.

Paul WS Anderson kind of sucks, though, so I'd rather he not get near zombies, much less write stories about them.

I'm usually the last guy to get offended by issues involving race or "offensive" things in general-- but this is just plain wrong. I don't see how this isn't offensive. It'd be bad if it was just a white chick ruffing up a black one, but "White is coming?" What were they thinking?

I know their intention probably wasn't "Take that you minorities!", but you have to wonder what kind of person makes an ad like that.

...So is the guy who will play Solid Snake going to get two pay checks for this one?
