Completely agreed! I was hoping to see something about magazines or newspapers in the iPad unveiling. I think it would be a great addition, and would make me a lot more inclined to buy one. Right now my decision depends on iBooks being available in Canada, and textbooks being added to iBooks.

I felt a little disappointed with the presentation yesterday, so I'll wait and see what comes in v2.0. The only real standout feature I saw was iBooks, and according to what I'm hearing it won't be immediately available in Canada. I think the main deciding issue for me is textbooks though. If they start selling textbooks that I need, there's a good chance I'll buy one.

Any news on pricing?

Why do they never include Canada when they say where the service isn't available? Are you ignoring us Joystiq?

It really annoys me that Canada can't get the video service. I was really looking forward to it last night. Do you think they'll work on making it available here?

We were originally delayed 1 month until December 20th, but I was at EB Games yesterday and they had only received the software, not the bundles. They said they're supposed to get the bundles on the 24th now.
