Metal Gear Solid Rising getting re-done graphics engine
Jun 15th 2009 10:17AM (Joystiq)Yes Crysis fits on a dual-layer DVD but to install its recommended you have 16gb free space, although I think its a 12gb install. So technically it won't fit on one DVD, although with compression etc its not impossible.
To point out, I do agree with your point, MGS4 wasn't a dual layer DVD because of super textures only the PS3 could handle. It was because of the huge amounts of cutscenes and content on the disk. Like it or loath it thats as much a part of MGS as the gameplay and without it MGS won't feel the same. I can't imagine how they are going to squeeze all that on a DVD, anime cutscenes here we come :(
