Erm none of the Playstions had failure rates over 40%, and never shipped 11 milion faulty consoles.

Even if you say that there were 1 million faulty PS2's, with 120 million units shipped, that's a less than 1% failure rate, compared to Microsoft's 40% and rising (and yes it's rising, as there are still 7 million of those faulty 11 million waiting to fail, and WILL fail..)

Indeed, only 40% of those original 11 million faulty Xbox's have yet gone wrong. There is still the other 60% that WILL fail in the 3 year RROD warranty. Hell, even the current Falcons have 10 in 100 failures, according to Microsoft insiders.

Don't think for one moment this blip in profitability is here to stay, it's another couple of years at least, until the faulty XBox issues are behind Microsoft.

I fail to see your logic. This is the first time EVER that Xbox has made any money. Playstation, PS2, PSP all make lots of money for Sony. The PS3 will also eventually make lots of money for Sony.

Put simply, so even an idiot like yourself can understand. The Playstation brand IS, and always will be more profitable that the XBox brand.

It's sold more units in it's first year, than the 360 managed, with a market to itself. Therefore the 360 must be a monumental failure, in your eyes..

This time, rather than rushing to get it out the door quicker than Sony, why not take your time, ensure it's feature complete, and reliable...

That is what I hate about gaming sites like this.

Sony did the consumer friendly thing, released the console when it was ready and reliable, yet get a bad wrap. Microsoft are the bad guys
