These 360 RPGs are just calculated, uninspired attempts to broaden the 360s appeal (so are Viva Pinata/Kameo/Banjo). They are proof that the 360 is struggling to appeal to non-FPS players.

It's true that the 360 has more than FPS games, but if you aren't into FPS games there's no reason to get a 360 over a PS3.

The big, true next-gen RPGs will be on the PS3 because of Blu-ray. There will probably be some PS3 RPGs that use multiple Blu-ray discs.

About 80% of DS game sales are from games published by Nintendo. The 3rd party stuff that does sell is all casual stuff like Imagine: Babies.

Nintendo's competitive attitude toward 3rd party companies will bring them down again (hopefully for good). Sony's more cooperative approach with 3rd party developers is why the PS1/PS2 did well and why the PS3 will outsell the Whii-Did-I-Buy-This-Crap in the long run.

I thought the name "Wii" was brilliant. The actual product was a let down.

I like Sony's ads, they're funny and slightly satirical.

I thought the PSP "racist" ads were funny too. Anyone who didn't is a racist. Supporting Barack Obama for the country's first token black president is more racist than Sony's ads. So is having Tracy Morgan on 30 Rock as the token black character.

Considering how long it took to make, the lawsuits, the terrible artwork, repetitive and shallow looking gameplay, and the fact that you and Fenix don't exactly fall on the "Smart" half of the intelligence spectrum, I'd say the chances of it being anything more than mediocre are slim.

The way 360 owners try to pretend the 360 isn't catering to the hardcore, is as sad as the way Wii owners pretend Nintendo isn't targeting casuals.

Sony's approach is not perfect but it is the best.
