Apple has not innovated their platform since the first iphone was released. It's the same concept but improved slightly each year. The iPad, iTV, and Ipod touch are all variations of the iphone. This is what companies do, it takes time to develop something that is completely different and have all the features and security in the previous.

This is what happens when you have bloggers that have never sat in a room and developed a product that makes it to production. Engadget needs to innovate its content because the weekly complaints about the same companies is getting old.

@Matt da Brat I get a discount on my monthly plan. My bill is literally $75.62 each month. Granted - my company pays $45 of that, so my out of pocket is like $30/month...not bad

@heathmaxie It also comes with a $110 bill/month (incl. tax) compared to my $75 (incl. tax). I'll take those savings each month right in my pocket.

btw...you'd think according to Engadget that RIM was in third or fourth place...Last time I checked, they have more devices out there than Android and Apple.

@CRA1G Unfortunately, all this fancy animations results in an EVO 4G that only last one day on a charge. I liked the iphone and all but got bored with it's simplicity after a year. I loved my bberry because it just worked whenever I needed it to and could hold a charge for days.

@DBX00 It also looks like they changed some of the icons (i.e. QuickOffice)

Installation went fine. The one new option is in the Sound & Diplay - Video Out - It gives you an option to select resolution for the HDMI output.

Heck...If I can upgrade my current blackberry it seems like a win win situation for me. That's the real kicker for businesses and blackberry. They keep products relevant without forcing you to upgrade your entire platform everytime a new product comes out.
