Eh, you get ID'ed for anything else that shouldn't be bought by a minor. I still get ID'ed at the theatre for R rated movies and I'm 26. I get ID'ed for beer and liquor, and if the internet didn't exist, I'd get ID'ed for porn. Most retailer's already ID for mature games when they really don't have to, so why not pass the bill.

Valve supplies the tools and resources to make your own Portal levels. It's the SDK and it's been around for ages (that's how Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat came about). They wouldn't sue them, if anything Valve would probably hire them.

I can't attest to the quality of Lost Cities but I will say that I've played another of Reiner's games called Poison. The game is fantastic and enough to make me want to at least try anything else of his.

I'm sorry Scotty, but yes I do expect them to know some of the news out there. It's their JOB to know about games, systems, and releases. Why even bother getting a job at a gamestore if you don't even bother reading up on it every once in awhile. I can't really blame the employees, but I can blame gamestop for not requiring their employees to be a bit more informed. Don't give me this bull that since it's a part-time job they shouldn't be invested... they're being paid to help customers, and not knowing some of this basic stuff (i.e. that a big release like Brawl is only on the Wii). Man, I'd hate to go shopping with your low expectations.

I would compare them more to a young Merlin Olsen.
