It's on Steam too.

PS3 Grand Theft Auto IV is 640p, nobody cares

I'll wait for a PC version. Then I can have my eye-blisteringly high resolution.

Civilization Revolution 'never' coming to PC

I'm pretty sure it is.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. creators 'seriously considering' a MMOG

Probably the only MMO I would play. That is, as long as it had the same gameplay as Stalker.

Destineer taps Unreal Engine 3 for new project [update]

Nov 6th 2007 11:35AM (Joystiq)
I've played three games on this engine so far and I haven't really been impressed with the visual.

Bioshock was nice, but all the models were shiny, UT3 demo looked like crap, even with everything cranked at the highest, and the Frontlines Fuel of War Beta isn't a stunner either.

This engine just isn't all that impressive graphically. I wonder why it keeps getting used.

Lady Croft runs out of steam in Europe

I loved the first game when it was first released, but I never played any of the others, until Legends that is.

The demo for this game was amazing, and really took me back to 1996 when I first explored those Tombs.

Halo 2 Vista coming May 31 in US, June 8 in Europe

"PC gamers have been waiting over two and a half years for Halo 2 to break free from its console chains."

Really? I couldn't care less.

Optional Hellgate: London subcriptions set at $9.95 per month

May 9th 2007 9:22AM (Joystiq)
Companies like Valve release free content for games like Day of Defeat: Source, Counter-Strike, and in the future Team Fortress 2 and Left4Dead.

So I can't see the point in paying for content updates for a game like Hellgate, since other companies are giving that kind of thing away for free.

I suppose the difference comes in that you're logging on to servers owned, operated and maintained by Hellgate, which is what you're really paying for. And really, it's an RPG, which means you don't want people to be able to store their avatars, gear and everything else locally since that makes it easier for people to cheat.

Joystiq hands-on: Frontlines: Fuel of War (360/PC/PS3)

I wonder how quickly levels and the game will load? One of my biggest gripes about BF2 was that I spent nearly 50% of my time loading the game (and verifying data!). That and the lack of widescreen.

PSP firmware cracked wide open by Grand Theft Auto ... again

Jan 26th 2007 9:16AM (Joystiq)
I would. But I haven't actually used my PSP since August.
