I agree wholeheartedly - failing to utilise the SD memory for active gaming seems a bit silly. Both the PS3 and X360 stream from their HD drives - surely this is an obvious solution for the Wii rather than forcing cumbersome data management on the users.

Marty - Blu-ray had NO advantage sound-wise compared to HDDVD. It was a larger capacity (by about 20 gigs only) - that's it. Same video codecs, same lossless audio.

Check your facts, mate.

Remer - check your facts PLEASE! Both formats had 'lossless' audio including TrueHD and DTS Uncompressed - in fact, HDDVD included as standard before before Blu-ray did.

HDDVD and Blu-ray use the same codecs!!! I am sick of tired of the amount of misinformation spread about these two formats. The only difference between BD and HDDVD is a slightly higher capacity and potentially higher bit-xfr rate for BD. Both formats (BOTH DAMMIT!) use MPEG-2, H.264/AVC, and SMPTE VC-1.

So Fanboys - please stop talking b.s. and do some research on your own bloody products!!!

Guess what's coming to Wii virtual console... -this does seem kindof stupid. Lots of 'no's from Microsoft lately - no blu-ray, no goldeneye, etc... Guess it's clear to see that Microsoft won't be releasing anything that involves licensing costs...

@Seth - you can download ANY demo for free on Xbox Live as well.
People here are talking about FULL VERSIONS not Demos - please do some research before opening your Fanboy trap.
