Detroit 2011: 2012 Buick Verano is quietly powerful

Jan 10th 2011 12:38PM (Autoblog)
May be a hangover from the slugbox rating. The HHR Turbo was rated significantly lower on the auto than the manual version. Same with the PT cruiser.

@wcarnation I have to agree. FO3 had A story line, sure you could play it several different way, but it was still two sides of a story. FONV has many different stories with the different factions fighting for the outcome of NV. I think it adds to replay ability more than FO3. However at the same time FONV feels very similar to FO3 and could for all intents and purposes be an expansion pack in the PC realm. However with the advent of DLC you get that now and not true expansion packs.

Hey when the going gets tough its the smart and resourceful that come out at the end. If there are tourism money to be had and you can come up with new reasons to come to your location on the cheap you will probably get those dollars or yen in this case.

THQ to limit functionality in Homefront multiplayer for users without 'Online Pass'

@Yuccadude Interesting issue, anybody with MOH and the level 15 cap able to chime in on this? I would think since most of the locks just limit content downloading that if the content is on the box it would work regardless of the profile signed into the console or game. I do wonder though as I recently ran into an issue with Zune and Netflix on my 360, I recovered my profile on my second box with a bad optical drive since you can't seem to copy a profile anymore. Went back to my original xbox, I could sign into Live and even interact in my friends list but Zune and Netflix complained that my profile wasn't valid. I wonder if these pass games would respond the same way to a different profile or even a profile recovered to a different box.

I was thinking Allstate since this seems more like mayhem unless of course your one of America's 50 million drivers that likes to pee on the side of the road.

Yep, great use of advertising dollars and the even got a news crew out there for free publicity. Reminds me of the free Harley and car give away that a radio station does here twice a year. The dealerships that give away the bike and the car get their names on the radio an obscene number of times per day for months on end. Plus they have both with them at live broadcasts throughout town and at the sponsor dealerships. Probably a cheap form of advertising. I'm not sure how much airtime costs, but it seems that they get probably a good solid hour of their name on the radio each work for months would be more expensive than a 35-45k car.

I will, that's a lot of hood. TT V12 or not that thing just looks goofy with the long hood and doors followed up by a rear that looks somewhat normal in size. It looks like you took a Mercedes and stretched 3/4 of it like silly putty.
