If MS gets rid of DRM being at the heart of Vista, more people would want to goto it, else the hobbyists wont touch it. Most people will just stick with XP, or goto Apple or Linux with visualisation to run Windows games.

The only temptation will be DirectX10 and maybe WinFS if it's later put in.
