Nobledevil [Gaming Optimist]

It looks derivative in quite a few ways, but also like it could be a showcase for hardcore 3D downloadable games.

All this hate for My Little Pony makes me want to watch My Little Pony. I've heard from people I respect that it's good, so why not.

Besides, it's written by the person who did Powerpuff Girls, and that show was friggin' awesome.

Needs more fez.

1999 or so was when I started gaming in earnest (really only cared a little bit before then, then became "hardcore" about that year.

I don't remember games being that hard in '99, but I was mostly obsessed with RPGs. When compared to '90 when I was getting smashed by every game I picked up with unused lunch money (whether through lack of skill or lack of experience, who knows, but it was still fun), I don't remember 1999 for the difficulty

The worst part of this game after watching the GiantBomb Quick Look was the frame-rate jumpiness; it me sick and I had to watch the video in three 20 minute chunks to get through it (terrible games are hilarious in Quick Looks, so I was happy to watch).

It was incredibly weird seeing v-sync issues in a console game released in 2012 - that kind of thing was solved almost immediately into the HD generation.

Definitely going to have to finally get Rochard. I was just gonna get it when I had more time to play, but a sale is a sale.

Isn't it selling better than just about any other Sony video game hardware (maybe with one exception, but I forget what that was)?

Pff, whatever - my purchase plan for this has been sorta set in stone damn near since it was announced.

PC would be great if they also released an SDK for some hot mods. Lord knows the community for Dark Souls would delve into that as hard the the Skyrim community seems to have done.
