It's an indie game that needs funding to get finished. Pretty common kickstarter fare. This game looks pretty interesting, though. I'm actually considering throwing a tenner their way. Shit, I bought The Dream Machine in its entirely and I've been waiting for more than a year for the next chapter on THAT - so what difference is it if this dude isn't quite done yet? Heh.

I'm not trying to steep my morning in Haterade or anything, but... I mean... A rhythm game you play on a handheld, with tangentally related, mediocre-looking Final Fantasy action going on in the background? I literally can not think of a game that appeals to me, less. This is what they spent all the cash the fans have shelled out for re-release after re-release on? Yeah, I'm good, guys. Thanks.

Honestly, I hadn't even considered the fact that in 2011, people still have connection issues with enough frequency to be an issue for something like this (shitty Caribbean islands aside). I suppose I do take for granted my reliable internet access.

Part of me wants to say that who you SHOULD be bitching at is your ISP's, and not Ubisoft, though, no? You pay those soulless corporations money every month, and if you're having frequent enough connection issues to where you get pissed about not being able to play your games.. well, you should PROBABLY be talking to someone there about it!

I get your arguments, though. I'm a reasonable Jerk Face. Especially since it's only a single player game. It's just such a messy situation with the way piracy is still such an issue. I know this isn't even a solution, since people will just pirate it anyway, but it just shows how much of a problem it still is that companies like Ubisoft have had to take these measures to even be able to provide their games on PC and still even turn a (possible) profit.

It's the World of Goo Problem: they released it without DRM and it had a NINETY PERCENT piracy rate. That's absolutely absurd, and it leads to this kind of thing happening.

I'm getting so tired of people complaining about having to be online to play a game on the PC. Your friggin' PC has been online constantly since the 90's, you turds. Like, stop it.

Now, as for the other stuff? Well that's whack. Especially for a game like this, where the mouse controls should make the experience even better.
