Zelda sold well in June, Child of Eden and Shadows of the Damned did not

Jul 15th 2011 12:32PM (Joystiq)
@eat it

I'm also waiting for both games to be $20. Same with Catherine. For how polished it looks, it's still a block puzzle game with a $60 price tag. WAY too much for it. I'll get Catherine when it's also $20.

New Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, Dragon Ball games coming from Namco Bandai

@xpander2k

I don't get it either. I never got into Naruto, but have been a DBZ fan for a long time. But WOW, does Naruto look good! It's like watching the actual cartoon. Why can't DBZ look like that too?

Report: Ubisoft's next Rainbow Six to focus on moral dilemmas

Jun 24th 2011 8:03AM (Joystiq)
@CranialEruption

I was going to come on here to say pretty much what you just said. If Ubi can't do it with R6, then maybe whoever owns the license to SWAT can give us a sequel (preferably more akin to SWAT 3).

I miss the days when there were tactical planning and the objective was NOT to run and gun every criminal in sight. Hell, SWAT penalized you if you shot first. R6 used to have you dealing with the drug dealers hideout, crazed husband holding family hostage and such. Much variety to the missions. Now they have evolved to kill every terrorist you see and rescue your own R6 teammate who got himself captured. Lame.

PSA: Crysis 2 'Decimation Pack' DLC out now for Xbox 360, PC

Jun 15th 2011 3:17PM (Joystiq)
Oh, I see. Plenty of time to get a DLC pack out...but still no DirectX 11 patch. Lame.

Street Fighter 3: Third Strike Online Edition preview: Fight in the future

Jun 14th 2011 9:05AM (Joystiq)
No offense but most, if not all, of those dip switches were available on the Dreamcast version of SF3:TS. I would have been very disappointed if the dip switches did not make it into this version.

I'm looking forward to the single player challenges and would like to know if the widescreen support is just a stretch or true widescreen.

Space Channel 5 Part 2, Sega Bass Fishing coming to XBLA and PSN 'late summer'

Apr 12th 2011 8:15AM (Joystiq)
It would be nice to see Space Channel have Kinect support. Also, where's Chu Chu Rocket on XBLA?

There's so many good games on Dreamcast that needs to be re-released or updated. Most of them are begging for an XBLA make over. PowerStone 2 was the funnest party brawler ever (even better than Smash Bros). Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, PSO, Maken X...I could go on and on. Even Outtrigger would make a great arena type game for Live Arcade. A personal favorite, Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm, was highly under rated in my opinion.

Crytek confirms it's working on a DirectX 11 patch for Crysis 2

Apr 11th 2011 9:10AM (Joystiq)
@sonicspike41

I'm glad that I am not the only one who remembers this game being marketed as a DirectX 11 game. Watch them rub salt into the wound and instead of it being a patch, they'll make it "DLC" so they can charge money for it.

Birth a dragon from your chest with this 3DS AR card t-shirt

Apr 11th 2011 8:58AM (Joystiq)
I swear, Nintendo better be pushing for the Pokemon developer to use AR for the next game on 3DS. How cool would it be to whip out a Charizard card and see him pop up and your friend bring out Squirtle? Then give commands via voice recognition or just tap the touch screen. Please Nintendo, get it done!

Rumor: Mortal Kombat Xbox 360 exclusives include arena, free DLC character, Avatar support

Apr 8th 2011 8:25AM (Joystiq)
@Anticrawl

I think Kaim is great idea. Though, I would LOVE to see Ryu Hayabusa. Microsoft always had a special relationship with Team Ninja and I thought he would've been a perfect. Maybe that relationship only went as far as Itagaki?

Get fighting fit with UFC Personal Trainer in June

Apr 7th 2011 1:43PM (Joystiq)
@AMonkey

Maybe not, but having a full time job and a 2 year old child, I've never had the time or money to join a dojo. For someone like me who has always been interested in martial arts this is a great alternative. Here's hoping the motion detection is spot on.

I'm excited for this. When I bought a Kinect, this is the type of game I hoped would be made. Now we just need a game like Crossed Blades or Infinity Blade for Kinect.
