@Cy Starkman

Is it bad that I read your comment as "Chalk up another half billion dollar win to obama while he spends $100 on a c4 charge."

Whoops.

Comments: I love Halo 3. I love Bungie. I love Joystiq. I like to think that I'm a bit better than my stats imply. However, I am not the biggest commenter. I read every day, but I rarely comment, so I'm not sure it would be fair for me to take the place of someone a little more "loyal." Not that I'm assuming I would be chosen. I'd love to do it, but I would also want the right people to get the chance.

I continue to regret not picking this up. I'm thinking that the next time I actually have money, I will. I had a real blast with the demo.

Curt Schilling leaving baseball for game development

Jan 11th 2008 3:34PM (Joystiq)
That headline........holy crap. I was about to cry. Curt is, despite allegations of a huge-ass ego [which I think he doesn't have], a good guy. He is actually into gaming, and I trust him. Though I doubt the game will be able to compete with the big guns, it's nice to hear that he's giving it a shot. Sounds like he won't be returning to the Sox as a coach though...which kinda blows. Oh well.

To anyone who says that the Red Sox are buying championships, I have two things to say. First off, you kinda have to in this day and age (yes, yes, I know there's always a sleeper team a.k.a. the Rockies). Secondly, the Red Sox are getting big contributions from a bunch of farm players as well, Pedroia, Papelbon, Ellsbury, Buchholz, etc. So.....hah.
