nope, I noticed the numbers quite early on the first time I watched the episode and the end still had a huge impact. So from my point of view and my partners the numbers didn't take anything away, if not they added to the impact of the end. We were both expecting some big ending and the second you saw the shot of the dad not answering the phone you just knew. It blew me away and I think it blew me away BECAUSE of the number count down. You were really expecting something and it was just about to hit and the second before... you realize it's going to be something totally different.

Excellent episode! Experience it however you do. If you are a person that notices things the first time around or not.
