I purchased my 360 for Halo 3 only. If my wife did not play a few Xbox live games on it I would have sold it by now. I have no desire to by a ps3 (for numerous reasons) despite MGS 3. I'm not going back to PC gaming (too expensive for my budget now, and I would be getting the next Xbox unless I see at least 3 killer app titles (I don’t like sports or RPGs).

Everyone has the right to disagree, but basically, I'm not finding $400 + accessory cost, worth of value in the 360. The Wii? Drastically overpriced. It might be worth it for the online catalogue, but then it's non-high def & for me, that's a deal breaker.

I'll just say it's questionable, but not blatant. Pretty stupid from a business standpoint. Controversial fine, but if you skirt close to racism, doesn’t matter if idiots scream about the racism, to the race you're offending, you just lost a sale.

True, but just like w/ AVP, the fear you got from playing thrgh the game, bcuz of the well directed moments of Zombee/ k-9/ T-Viruse monster attacks, weren't there (in the film).

I like the second one, the 1st BLEW thg. Not at all faithful to the game franchise like Tomb Raider 1. Milla is a fab acctress and bought the rights to the film adaptaions but I guess she doesn't excerise that much creative control in the area of who directs the film. Mortal Kombat, PG-13 AVP?! I took my entire family to see the 1st Rez movie. I've never been so mortified.

The framerate is my primary concern wth this game too. It seem that Epic will advance the level of detail in their character models with each new iteration, but the framerate is all ways Quake jerky. I hope Halo 3 which I hear uses the same engine (or elements of) don't suffer from the same problems. I rater have slightly less eye-candy for 60 fps.

Mors cheaters don't use their main accounts but the free ones available everytime you pick up a game store retred.

Without a more effective system Halo 3 will be doomed to the same situation. The recent news about people playing "backups" of their games on live is proff we'rw all in for more of the same.

When a PC game is broken by its delevlopers, and subsquently fix, it has the potential to become legendary (BF1942). When a flaw in a game/ system isn't PROPERLY address or flatout ignored in favore of the next itteration, well... Tribes 2 - Tribes Vengence)

Does that mean MS won't have a monetarily sucessful game? No, but is that the true measure of scuccess? I ask Bungie and all developers, what standard do you hold your self to?

For the record 3 pros vs 5 avg players is a far better game then 4 +1 Deleveler vs 2 noobs.

Sleeping with Satan: Someone offers you a party invite, in which they use one of many cheats COMMON to HALO 2 to rank-you-up. In-return the cheater recevies a free 2-3 month XBOX LIVE membership card to use as an alais for more cheating.

Stealing Host: A network manipulation hack accomplished by multistep button selection before a match.

By the way, Bungie does not consider super jumps and sticking cheats but "in-game glitches and exploits" that are a part of the game and not bannable offenses.
