That Need For Speed Carbon is on the PS3's list speaks wonders about the state of their software lineup. I'm surprised MGS4 and Final Fantasy XIII weren't mentioned, to be honest... though I suppose they're a way off, yet.

These figures are five years off, and given that, they could be feasible... by that time, it's reasonable to assume that the difference in price between the three system will have levelled out dramatically. By then, how competitive each machine will be will be due to things other than price, such as software library, functionality, installed userbase, marketing...

I have no doubt that in the beginning, Wii will utterly wipe the floor with PS3. It's practically a foregone conclusion, especially given that Sony will have maybe a fifth of the units Nintendo will make available at launch. After that period, though? Well... anyone's guess, really. But it'll be interesting to watch, I'll bet!

Guy makes a fair point, although I prefer the term 'new-gen' for Wii.

The only bit of my rig that's a bit substandard is my graphics card - a GeForce 6200. That said, I've recently been playing Oblivion on it. I can only run it at 640x480 at about 20-30 fps, but it's still eminently playable.

The Game Boy Camera was stacks of fun! Sure, it's dated now - eight years later - but the technology at the time was pretty good. I swore by it, personally.

Artoon happen to have been responsible for the yawn-fest that was Yoshi's Universal Gravitation/Yoshi Topsy-Turvy. All of a sudden, I'm not very encouraged. Prove me wrong, people.
