Uh, an item that costs 129.99 is always going to sell more than something that costs at least five hundred. Thats like gloating that mazda sells more mazda3's than Lamborghini sells Murcielago's.

I think this would actually be harder to control than just using the controller by itself. By the simple fact that you would have to hold the wheel outwards at all times and wouldnt be able to rest your hands on your lap. Using the wiimote you could just rest your hands on your lap and rock the controller from side to side to steer, you cant do that with this, and it would become very tiresome.

144,000 downloads in one day? Doesnt seem like alot to me considering they were giving the game away for free -and- there is 'supposidly'over 2 million active subscribers to the live online service.

They could still have games on UMD, if they add a gig to eight gigs of flash memory, the UMD can completly load the entire game onto the flash memory when its started up and while your playing. Would save load times by a crapload.

Well technically this isnt a FPS, this is a third person shooter, much like MGS. You know how well those asians do with third person shooters!

Well here comes all the fanboy's coming in full swing. How the hell can you say none of these games interest you? They span just about every genre in the gaming market.

I personally cant wait to see a bunch of these games, if not just to see if any of the hype is actually true or not.

Jeez, it looks like the fanboys are out in full swing tonight. Its alright if you dont like a system or you dont like its price tag, but why must you bash EVERY game that comes out for said system? Even before you've actually read a review or played the game? You guys have NO idea if this game is going to be good or bad because you cannot base a game on a 30 second clip.

For the gameplay itself, It looks kinda meh, but there seems to be several characters, unlockable weapons, and a bunch of different enemies from large to small, so it might turn out to be a pretty decent game. ESPECIALLY with a bunch of friends playing. I can just see 7 people sitting down and hacking away with this.

Andrew, there is a difference between the xbox and the ps3 in size. The xbox was a rectangular black plastic brick while the ps3 looks semi-sleek and atleast has some form of design (good or bad). Personally I think the ps3 looks awesome standing on its side, and the best looking system out of the three. When its laying flat, however, it looks like (as someone said) a bloated whale. But oh well, its not like someone buys a system on looks alone.

I find it funny that everyone glanced over this comment,"thanks in part to strong sales from both the DS and Xbox 360". Now, of course this is true, but who is in the second spot? The ps2. Its getting pretty easy to notice the anti-sony joystiq nowadays.
