Played the 13-2 demo, it still sucks. They improved some major elements, but for me the battle system still sucks. It's still a "press x, L1, x auto select " all the way through the game. until they bring back REAL control over ALL characters in the party (i.e, you do this, you do this, use item now, use magic now etc..) I wont be buying this one. They got my money with 13, they wont fool me twice.
On a good note though, i do like how they brought back "pop up" encounters. They even improved it by making encounters random but still avoidable if you wish. that was cool
I must say that macs do hold their value over PC's. I just sold a dual g4 in November 07 for $600 and that machine was 5 years old maybe. A good powerbook will run you a couple hundred still and those are G4's. I don't think there's ANY 5 year old PC you can get a few hundred dollars for regardless of manufacturer or the original retail price. But then again,
Yeah this is no news at all. iTV? Time machine hard drive? Movie rentals? Air Book? this is the big news? I think the biggest news this macworld was the Mac Pro update last week. Apple could've replaced the mac book with this and added the track pad and wireless features to the macbook pro. They need something to compete with a UMPC, or a smaller macbook pro. but this is a regular laptop. for 2 pounds more and 1000 bucks less i can get an mb that kills this machine and buy/install my own ssd with the money i saved. And on top of all that, they didn't even update the current models with the new Intel chips. I would've been more excited about a quad mb/mbp. This is a joke.
Why Final Fantasy XIII just didn't work
