Apple starts refunding Bumper purchases automagically

Jul 23rd 2010 2:16AM (Engadget)
Pretty costly fix to a non-issue because, "the iPhone 4 is the best smartphone on the market right now."

HTC fires back at Apple antenna demo with percentage pew-pew

@Cold Dead Fingers Then why are they giving away bumpers if there is no problem?

HTC fires back at Apple antenna demo with percentage pew-pew

Apparently engadget was too busy covering for apple to actually think through their last comment.

Even if the eris sold only 100,000 units it is still only 16 phones that were called in. Compared to Apples 3 million and 16500 complaints called in. But I guess you got to defend your turf with backhanded comments.

RIM co-CEOs pull no punches responding to Apple's antenna statements

"RIM's customers don't need to use a case for their BlackBerry smartphone to maintain proper connectivity"

Touche. If there is no problem Apple, then why the free case?

That is pretty funny that the N900 had it first lol. Still love the Nexus One though.

Hey Apple, you're holding it wrong

"We're not going to beat around the bush -- in our approximation, the iPhone 4 is the best smartphone on the market right now."

Shouldn't you redact the phone part and just call it the best and only smartbrick on the market right now. Seriously got to question your abilities to review units.

Australia to pay Telstra A$11 billion for entire copper network

Jun 20th 2010 4:56PM (Engadget)
@plyx but now the democratically elected corporate owner can pass a bill saying you have to pay for it whether you like it or not. Now the democratically elected corporation can filter it because the majority now wants to throttle P2P connections since it is slowing down their speed.

Researchers develop air conditioning that's 90 percent more efficient, bone chilling

@JohnnyAce

That sucks because R22 has been replaced and the Carrier distributor I worked for about 4 years ago couldn't reorder R22 because it was government mandated to be phased out. Hope you can replace that heat pump.

Please stick to gadgets since you have no idea about HVAC refrigerant. R22 has been phased out for R410a Puron. R22 was phased out because of it not being environmentally friendly. If your unit was purchased in the last 5-10 years you are using Puron. If you haven't had yours replaced good luck getting your hands on any R22 anymore.

Entelligence: Is Android fragmented or is this the new rate of innovation?

@Vanilla Sperm

>>I don't mind droid devices on the market - in fact, it's time apple got kicked in the nuts a bit in the PR limelight but if you want the mainstream to accept these android devices, stop the damn confusion. You will not find one android device alike. Some have keypads, some have extra buttons, some have optical trackball, some have no trackballs, and almost all of them get obsoleted within a few months time frame because another droid device pops up and claims to be the best, until another one pops up and we have the same shit happening again - major utter confusion and clusterfcuking.
