I think as long as a game is even marginally profitable (it is a business, after all), that the game should be left open. Not only do people play these games, but they put a lot of their energy and lives into it, and get real enjoyment. To kill such a thing after the social contract of getting them involved in something that's persistent and open, and yes, that the company wanted them to invest so much in really erodes the ability of the player base to get involved in such projects. It's one of the reasons that even though I have free months to most NCSoft games still unused in my account, I still haven't gone back to any of them. They broke that trust.

Career? I thought he was a football player. Imagine my surprise. The evidence points toward him having killed his wife, and a little less towards him having committed the current crimes. But career?

To equate what he did to child molestation shows that you have no sense of perspective. What he did was wrong, no doubt, but there is *nothing* that equates to child molestation. NOTHING. And all of you who voted that inane comment up are just as WRONG.

@Les - He doesn't really make much from his earnings, truth be told. After everything, he makes a little over 4000 a month, because of court agreements and obligations and such- it's public record. And he is working with the Humane Society. So why bash him for a statement?

The question that I would pose to all of the previous commenters, is what would that provide than anyone couldn't? In his position, he's in a place to make a difference, and hopefully help to eradicate the practice by working with the Humane Society and speaking against dog fighting. But working in a shelter wouldn't really do anything that others (and the people who are paid to work there) can't do.

And some pretty tough words... taking him out and shooting him? He's not playing that bad. Not his best, but better than a lot of other QBs that teams have this year.

I can only hope so. I really like FE, but not enough to pay $15/month...

They're limiting it about as much as CoX does by default. You're limited to an archetype, where you can select powers within it. Sound familiar? The paying players can make their characters from any of the powers available, mixing and matching at will, as long as they meet the prereqs.

I can see that you don't have any experience with contracts... lawyers and agents make a lot of money negotiating them for a reason. It provides binding protection to the athlete and the organization. You might tear it up, but that doesn't mean that *they* will...
