I don't think any other engine is as flexible or adaptable as source. Think about how long it's been in use, then compare the screens above to Half Life 2's. The difference is huge. Does anyone know of any other engine that has aged so well or lasted so long? CryEngine 2 is bad ass, but how many games use it? 2 or 3 I think and it's already soon to be replaced.

The Source Engine is as much a legacy as the Half Life series and of coarse Valve is not finished yet.

Dang, that trailer was REAL sexy. The combat looks fucking awesome, especially the combo's. They look really natural and dynamic, I just hope it's not too easy. Plus I'm a sucker for some Justice, who are 100x better live btw.
