Retail and download releases for the week of November 24th

Nov 24th 2008 10:04AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
In the case of Earthworm Jim, the Mega Drive/Genesis version was superior due to content rather than sound. EWJ2 however is best played on SNES. Dunno about Boogerman.

As for FF6, Square-Enix are extremely fond of their money and much prefer remaking games 30 times rather than releasing them on VC.

But Earthbound is anyone's guess. Nintendo really need to get that one out.

VC Monday Madness: Space Invaders and Forgotten Worlds

Nov 18th 2008 7:35PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Wow, you actually said "do not download" to a shmup? :P Where is the real David Hinkle!?

Nintendo goes trademark crazy, Picross 3D and others heading west?

Nov 12th 2008 6:59PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
What? DSLife!?

Ah, if only you'd patented your weekly feature, you'd be swimming in money and getting their hardware banned right about now. :P

Wii Fanboy presents: Game Night [update 2]

Nov 6th 2008 3:15PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Last week I got screwed over by the UK's Daylight Savings and showed up the same time as I always do; which was an hour too late thanks to the clocks moving!

Has US Daylight Savings occurred yet? I'll show up an hour early just in case.

DS Daily: Five games

Oct 31st 2008 9:34AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
In no particular order...

1. Kirby Super Star Ultra (I love Kirby and yet I've never played Super Star in any form. Supposedly I'm horribly missing out.)
2. Gyakuten Kenji (Having just completed Trials & Tribulations last night I'm itching for more.)
3. Phantasy Star Zero (Looks interesting enough.)
4. Mario & Luigi RPG 3 (God dammit pleeeease!)
5. Professor Layton and the Curious Village (I haven't touched the series, ashamedly. But seems to be my sort of game.)

Wii Warm Up: Plugging it in

Oct 10th 2008 8:26AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
It's not a big deal. As the Wii Warm Up admits, they're being picky bastards.

Nintendo: DSi is region-locked

Oct 6th 2008 4:10PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
So it's just DSi software? Hasn't put me off then if I can still play JUS and Ouendan on it.

DS Daily: Will you get it?

Oct 5th 2008 2:33PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Certainly not an immediate purchase. But I expect I'll end up buying it eventually. I have one of the original silver DS's. Time hasn't been kind to the touch screen, my pockets haven't been kind to the once-smooth silver, and the battery life is getting shorter.

I couldn't sell it for much even if I wanted to. So it'll probably serve as my GBA if I end up with a DSi.

DS Daily: Rhythmblem

Oct 4th 2008 1:43PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Tough call. I love both Rhythm Tengoku and Fire Emblem. Uhh...well, I'll say FE will sell more. But I'm probably more eager for Rhythm Heaven.

VC Friday: Thursday edition [Update 1]

Oct 2nd 2008 10:58PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Yay, I'm loved. =P You're welcome.

Just when I spent my 800 on DKC3...bah! I needs me some earthworm action!
