NVIDIA: Chrome OS on Tegra is money, not that anyone ever doubted it

You sir, are correct! And thanks to Engadget to making the correction in the post, too.

Happy 3rd birthday Engadget HD!

Happy birthday guys! Feels like it was just yesterday that eHD was born. Here's to many more!

Windows 7 multitouch: it's a gimmick (for now)

Feb 5th 2009 4:27PM (Engadget)
Aside from the multi-touch, just about everything else here has been on touchscreen UMPCs and Tablet PCs since 2005. Touch and Ink got better with Vista and the Tablet Input Panel (TIP), but so far, there's not much here that's different unfortunately. Hopefully it gets further optimization in RC1.

Dash cuts 50 employees, drastically changing business model

"hopefully he is currently unemployed"

I wouldn't wish that on anyone, regardless of my opinion of their product. That's simply distasteful and shameless.

Engadget HD Podcast 100 - 09.3.2008

Sep 4th 2008 5:47PM (Engadget HD)
Ben and Steve: thanks for having me on the show. It was a pleasure to catch up and see how much eHD has grown since the humble beginnings.

Oh and burndive: without the "people and their lives" from behind the scenes there would be no eHD, no podcast and no discussion for you participate in. Surely you can humor 1% of the total podcasts dedicated that no? Just a thought dude. Peace.

iTunes on two computers with one iPod

Oct 15th 2006 1:49PM (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)
By design, the iPods are meant to automatically synch with one iTunes library, i.e.: one computing device. However, you can manually manage files on your iPod across multiple devices by:

Diplaying the iPod preferences.
Clicking the Manually manage music button.

Then you can move files from any iTunes client to the iPod. And yes, iTunes is a pain in the next for any non-basic functionality.

Apple to trademark Podcast? (or "How to fight the good fight")

Sep 23rd 2006 12:45PM (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)
You've unwittingly added points to Apple in your non-tech definition. You mentioned that podcasting is way to get mp3 files to your iPod. iPod? Podcasting has nothing specifically to do with iPods but having the word "pod" in the term got you to have a subconcious faux pas that Apple loves. I listen to roughly six podcasts a week and co-host / product two each week. I don't listen to ANY of them on an iPod as it's not required. Any computing device that can play digital audio files can play podcasts. So why have "iPod" in the definition? By doing so, Apple has already won the battle; I think it's disgraceful what they're trying to. I said it last year when podcasting support showed up in iTunes: "Apple will the best and the worst thing for podcasting."
