I wish Nintendo made a better bundle with the Wii. SNES had great bundles. Like SNES with Killer Instinct or SNES with Super Mario World. Even N64 had some good bundles like the N64 with DK64. When I got my Wii I played Wii Sports for 30 minutes threw it in the corner after that played LoZ: Twilight princess and never touched Wii Sports again. Maybe its because i'm a core gamer but I don't really see the big deal with WIi Sports. IMO its a budget title. They would be better off with SMG or LoZ Twilight Princess in the bundle.

Best third-party game yet I give it a 9/10. Kind of sad the only other great third-party game for the wii is a port of RE4. Also the boss fights are great i'm glad Suda 51 didn't dumb down the game just to appeal to casuals just like many other developers have.

No. Super Smash Bros. is a kind of game that is played by casuals but mastered by hardcores. Also there are different variants of casuals, there are the ones who buy Wii Play, Wii Fit, Brain age, Nintendogs, etc and then theres the casuals who buy GTA, Gears of War, Halo, Super Mario Galaxy.

Well the only decent third-party games on Wii are targeted to core gamers (NMH, RE4). Its hard for third-party to sell core gamer targeted games to a consoles that casual and non-gamer infested (yes I don't like casuals because of experience in retail because they know absolutely nothing about games).

I'm getting No More Heroes. As EGM said Endless Ocean is a non-game. Being that i'm a core gamer i'll support NMH because its just one more developer that still cares about the core gamers. Instead of dumbing things down for casuals.

Another lackluster VC release in January. They should have just release 1080.

vidguy what exactly does the 2008 wii lineup have over ps3’s? SSBB & Mario Kart VS MGS4 and FF13 (FF13 is still slated for 2007 release). I think they both are equal. Dont even mention Wii Play that casual gimmick is no where near the calibur of those 4 games.

I never wear the wrist strap and my Wii remote has never flown into the wall, tv or anything. It depends on the games you play and how you use the Wii remote. Most of the games I have (Super Paper Mario, SMG, MP3, DBZ BT3, and RE4) have very limited movement with the Wii remote if any at all. Which is why I love the fact RE4, DBZ BT3, and soon to be SSBB use the classic controller.
