12 Days of Joyswag: Halo Reach-themed Xbox 360, Halo Anniversary, and Turtle Beach PX5 headset

Dec 25th 2011 12:58PM (Joystiq)
Well, seeing as how I've never been on, at least in a competitive nature, I've never been subjected to voice chat. And from what I've been told, I'm better for it.

12 Days of Joyswag: Nintendo 3DS plus eight games (and a ton of Skylanders)

Dec 25th 2011 12:57PM (Joystiq)
I mostly play a little before I'm getting ready to go to bed. Don't ever really take it out of the house, but it's useful to have if you want to multitask a bit and half-watch a program while playing a game. Or if the main TV is taken, although I always seem to be more comfortable playing the handhelds, anyway.

12 Days of Joyswag: 250GB Xbox 360 with Kinect, Forza Motorsport 4, and Wireless Speed Wheel

I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo. Looking for something else eventually, but my wallet screams every time I look at other stuff, especially the prices on trucks.

Anyway, said vehicle gets driven to work, mostly. Although it was driven to the parents' house for Christmas most recently. :D

12 Days of Joyswag: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Collector's Edition (or: free dragons)

Shaving. Yeesh, it gets so tiring. Sleep would be nice to do away with, think of all I could get done.

Searching for Reckoning in the Kingdoms of Amalur

@Jenks: Definitely one of the reasons I'm rooting for this game to succeed. Schilling's a cool dude, and he seems to know how to get the heck out of the way of the talent that he's recruited for this.

Sony: Vita will support multiple PSN accounts, each tied to individual memory cards

Dec 8th 2011 2:31PM (Joystiq)
This... doesn't sound good. I suspect they're trying to limit the sharing of games, but I'm not sure this is the way to do it.

Also, by implementing this, it likely makes any sort of third-party solution more difficult to implement, which means you pretty much have to buy your memory card from Sony. It just seems like there are more and more hoops to jump through with this system, even if I still would like one!

Rumors: Dead Space expands into FPS and flight, Dragon Age goes multiplayer

Dragon Age, multiplayer? I just felt a distinct disturbance in the Force.

PSN's classic JRPGs: What holds up?

@MSUHitman: Are those available on PSN, though? I think he's just doing this based on games that are on PSN, and it looks like specifically the PSOne Classics.

PSN's classic JRPGs: What holds up?

@Undulation: I hope you're not referring to Final Fantasy VI when you say 2D, at any rate. I still find that to be the best Final Fantasy game out there. FFI, FFIII, and FFIV are also excellent.

Surprised on the decision on Grandia, but that's fine. Everyone has different tastes.

Haven't seen it mentioned, but I _highly_ enjoyed Breath of Fire IV. Good stuff there.
