Syndicate employs Brian Cox, Rosario Dawson and Michael Wincott

@Yongousen
At least Rosario Dawson has a sexy-sounding somewhat deeper and a bit ethic sounding voice which fits the theme of the syndicate world from what we've seen. I'd say it certinately beats if they had picked a vastly different voice-style like say the ultra-bubbly cheerleader style voice of the actress from Legally Blonde.

Mass Effect 3 'From Dust' DLC purchased at GameStop before launch

No, Wal-mart employees can sell items prior to black friday sales. That's a very bad example. You could get a CSR to approve a piece of paper/form/fill out sheet called a CSC or somethign like that card. You just under the item sku, and then on your till hit 'price override' button and type in the sale price, hit enter, scan the item, type in the sale price again, hit enter and its done. It's against wal-mart's policy to do that and the CSR would get in trouble from the manager later but its entirely possible to do so.

Skus not in the system, however, need to be added by the merchandisers in the back into the system. That only takes like 3 minutes per item though. Yes, a given merchandiser could add an item early in preparation of it going on the shelf tommorow/the day after if they are ahead of schedule and the upc code might work before the item is to be sold.

Oklahoma attempts violent-game tax, ESA responds

What also contributes to both bullying and obesity is foods with high sugar. High amounts of sugar intake cause schools to have higher rates of violence, bullying and disruptions to classroom learning. High amounts of sugar intake lead to high amounts of insulin homorone secreted by glands encouraging fat storage.

Really, by this logic, there should be a 1% fast-food tax and a 1% product contains over x grams of sugar per gram of product.

Metro: Last Light delayed to first quarter of 2013

The Wii U's performance specs make it questionable whether it would be powerful enough to run this game at any meaningful level of detail versus pc counterparts.

Metro: Last Light delayed to first quarter of 2013

Haha, yes, not that long ago at all. Seems like yesterday, and yet raw GPU computing power has already increased to 4x that level. It's amazing in a way think that all power from all of the gpu developments from the 1960s > 2010 resulted in 1Teraflop of processing power and was quadrupled from 2010 to 2012 to almost 4 TFs.

Some of the top of the line PC-first games like BF3 look absolutely stunning and just so realistic its breathtaking when you up the settings to ultra settings on a PC and turn on all the bells and whistles. Can't wait till console ports are no longer holding back PC gaming in 2-3 years and we've reach 10-12TF.

THQ reveals $56 million loss in Q3

Yes, a total fad. That's why its being bundled with every new tv model introduced this year and the non-3D tvs are slowly being phased out. When every HDTV sold is a 3D HDTV and more and more 3D movies are made each week, that fad will end faster and faster.

Motion controller might go the way of the dinosaurs -- but -- 3D? I don't think quite so easily. I'd bet since 3D gaming is easy to do and already prevelant/available in almost every game release don the PC(available for PC hardware) and the next console will be based of PC Hardware, we'll see the Xbox 720/PS4 do 3D. Possibly motion gimmickry too since they invested so much in developing and heavy marketing push for the kinectx, etc garbage.

Nice deal. Even if its on sale for $19.95 I think it is totally worth it for the amount of gameplay and quality of the title. If someone hasn't played it, I highly recommend grabbing it during a Steam sale. Help convince the developer to spend more money on their squel by making the original more profitable inc profit forecasts for the sequel :)??

Metro: Last Light delayed to first quarter of 2013

The gamer inside me wants to play it now but good for them(The developer) for delaying it. I hope they take their time on this title and follow up with a great sequel to the quality original. Metro 2033 was one of the best looking PC games of its year and still is quite visually impressive. Gameplay was solid too.

Besides, PC single-chip top-of-the-line cards are already up to 3.7 TFs this generation in January. By January next year, we could be seeing mid-line cards with 3.7TFs and high-end at 5-6TF easily which might make the graphics in Metro First Light way better than Metro 1 when PCs were at a single Teraflop of GPU power.

Sony plans on $2.9 billion loss for the year

True, makes the picture a bit darker and colors a bit washed out.... but... next to free glasses versus 99.99 per person makes it a bit of a win imo.
