Being a late adopter (as in a year late) is okay, waiting 4+ years IMO is foolish.
By the time you finally adopt the tech would be out of date.
This article recommending holding off on consoles and blu-ray players and LCD tvs is idiotic, most people have had these devices for 2-3 years, that's not EARLY that's reasonable.

I think you forgot the rotary phone and the mobile CD player.
Seriously...some of the things on the list have been out for several years and are well worth owning now.

I clicked on the video player randomly last night and this came on...I thought it was either a PSP game or a PS2 game until the end when I saw the title and what systems it's on.
