MonkeyPaw and Gaijinworks Kickstart a Class of Heroes 2 localization

Mar 28th 2012 10:36AM (Joystiq)
I really wish Kickstarter didn't have a ~30 day limit on their funding. I would love to fund all these games, and get all the extras they have.

It sucks being broke...

Joyswag: Kid Icarus Uprising AR Idol Cards

I've never eaten an eggplant before, actually...

If anything, I'd just eat an eggplant raw.

WRUP: Pitching Indies

I've been playing nothing but Journey for the last week. I've gone through 6 full journeys so far. I don't know what it is, but something about the anonymous multiplayer makes every experience different.

As for this week, I got both a UGC and ETF2L Team Fortress 2 match to play in, and I've been getting an itch to play some Billy Hatcher again.

Here's how you'll get those Kid Icarus AR cards

The last time I was this excited for cards was when the e-Reader came out. Stil got all of mine, too.

That said, My Nintendo Power subscription ran out last month, and I have yet to renew. Why didn't I send that renew card in sooner...

How Resident Evil 2 helped Keiji Inafune become the indie dev he is today

Mar 8th 2012 10:03AM (Joystiq)
Bah, I write up a pretty long comment, and it keeps getting eaten by the word filter, or something. Guess I'll cut it down some then.

From the looks of things, it looks like capcom was always reluctant against new IPs. It must have made development there hard, as new ideas could be cut down at any time. Then again, that's a natural course of game development, but it just seems even more so at Capcom.

Anyway, I can't wait to see what Comcept and Intercept put out. Neptunia mk2's finally out over here, and Inafune's cameo is pretty awesome.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive loses cross-play

I guess you got in before they set up the survey then. I remember doing the web survey when they started the beta signups, then getting an e-mail a few weeks later saying I had to do the hardware survey before I could get in. That said, it took a few months, but I finally got Dota 2 a couple weeks ago.

Actually, iirc, Dota 2 did have to do a hardware scan. That's why the steam survey url for CSGO has a 2 on it. takesurvey/1/ is Dota 2's survey url. Even folks who got the key through other means still had to take the survey before they could play.

Missing Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 DLC arriving on Vita Feb. 28

No, it's true. It annoyed me when my friend kept asking me where they both went, and I'd ask him if he deleted the original MvC game data, only for him to say yeah cause he keeps forgetting the data carries over.

But yeah, as much as I want to think its so that people who already bought them don't feel ripped off, it's most likely cause they want to squeeze a few extra bucks from new buyers.

Xenoblade Chronicles arrives on April 6 wrapped in this gorgeous box art

I voted for the blue one with the floating islands, but this one's pretty good too.

Also, stop linking people to that guide. It's overly complex and utterly pointless, as all you need to run imports is HBC and GeckoOS.
