I think that this will end up being one of those games that's an ideal $20 game or rental; one of those games that you absolutely have to play once, but definitely isn't worth a full price purchase.

I think they are going to wait until the 720 to rip off PS Home, since it'll have Kinect integration and a more casual user focus. And, just like Avatars, they'll pretend its a great new thing they just invented.

You're looking at it backwards. Big companies see it from the point of view that it'll be even more profitable if they have fewer employees to pay. Now that the game is done, they (the company) are going to make a certain amount either way, so they reduce overhead (employees) to increase profit. Standard business practice, unfortunately.

Him investing in Psychonauts 2 and helping to get it to actually happen would do a lot to convert people like myself, who fail to understand the appeal of Minecraft and, thus, the "genius" of Notch.

To me, Minecraft seems like a horrifically boring game, second only to Desert Bus.

If you practice long enough, you can actually make it pretty far. Of course, the bizarre motions I usually make don't really resemble running. More like a drunk cripple trying to walk across a frozen pond.

No, it was objectively a good game. It was funny, unique, well-designed, and well-received. Simply because you didn't like it doesn't mean it was a bad game.

I look forward to 2k13 coming out, so I can pick up 2k12 for cheap. Its usually my plan for Madden as well. Once the new one comes out, the previous one can be had used for a sliver of the price.
