True, but how much more of a market is there at this point? You'd be competing with Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony. Sony & Microsoft have been clawing it out for years now, while fanboys debate relatively minor differences between the systems. It doesn't seem like Sega could be able to come out with anything truly game changing at this point. I'd like to see them focus on a few small, but quality titles. Sonic Generations was a great game. The first time in a long while where I've been able to really enjoy a Sega game all the way through. I'd love to see a sequel to that (especially if they could manage a 2 player mode similar to how the original Sonic games had one, or for the 3D maps, do a vertical split screen. A next gen brawler could be wonderful, just keep it simple. A fun, Streets of Rage, Altered Beast, or Golden Axe would be wonderful if they kept it an arcade style brawler ideally similar to Castle Crashers at least in terms of responsiveness.
I won't say say any of the new ones are bad games, they just aren't what attracted me to the series to begin with though. X started this trend, I enjoyed 12, but 13 just got really boring for me as well made a game as it was, it didn't have the sense of exploration that the other games had (even if you could argue that those games are just as linear, they didn't feel that way).
No kidding. Especially for something like this that seems like it should be part of the original game.
Funny thing is. If they simply kept their mouth shut and released this information 6 months or a year after the game came out it they would probably have positive reactions.
