Syndicate refused classification in Australia, called 'unsuitable for a minor' [update]

Dec 20th 2011 6:41PM (Joystiq)The reason is we are apparently getting an overhaul of the entire system as the whole thing is archaic. That doesn't help us for this game however.
This only increases the desire to pirate the games, the same as Mortal Kombat. Pirated games cost about $10 each, and people charge $50 to modify the Xbox to play pirated games. So it costs far less than buying a single game legally ($110 or sometimes $90 at launch).
Not saying piracy is the answer, just showing the reality of why the ratings and game costs need adjusting.

Nov 28th 2011 8:30PM (Joystiq)Stream or HD DVD gives a lot of control to prevent piracy. People will be hard pressed to pirate on HD DVD as they can't get the burners or the blank discs. Even if they already have some discs and a burner, they won't get any more discs so they can't pirate the games for long.
I Am Alive not planned for PC due to piracy concerns
Nov 23rd 2011 9:37PM (Joystiq)So the Xbox 360 is piracy free is it?
Not that I really care, I have a 360, PS3 and a PC so I'll just get it on a console of choice. 90% of gamers I know are the same. In fact I have only one friend that is a PC only gamer and he only uses Steam.
Bethesda ships 7 million Skyrim launch units, expects $450 million in return
Nov 16th 2011 6:36PM (Joystiq)I've only played it for 30 minutes thus far but combat is far better than in Oblivion and the load times are significantly improved (Xbox 360). If they are your only complaints then I believe they are resolved.

Nov 9th 2011 5:27PM (Joystiq)What would be cool is if there was a Robin story along with the Batman one. Basically showing what Robin is doing in Gotham while Batman is dealing with Arkham City. Having this run simultaneously and have multiple points where Robin swoops into Arkham to assist Bats with a truly diabolical battle. Obviously most of the bad guys are locked in Arkham but there are still more outside he can contend with. Possible future DLC???
Co-op challenge maps would be awesome too.
