Yeah this looks like a US only roll out, which im disappointed about but there is obviously the same issue that stopped movie trailers etc being on live previously. Its a shame that because a film is rated int the states it cant be shown in the uk.
oh and there is a workaround for this.
1. Create a new hotmail account based in the US 2. Create a new live account linked to the hotmail account created in step 1 3. Purchase MS points cards 4. Download and enjoy!
You will requre a full zip code and US phone number but thats quite easily found on google/msn etc
Can someone please confirm that silver users can fully access this service too?
oh yeah... the network is laggy tonight, i think its been really put thru its paces...
first of all congratulations to ms, even those these updates were obvious and requested heavily its going to make the live service excellent.
would be nice if (and more likely when) microsoft incorporate more of the live.com features, how about your own personal home page you can access via the 360 with the same functionality of live.com, such as local.live, hotmail, live (msn) messenger.
I believe that both the wii and ps3 are allowing full access to the internet, something that would be nice on the 360, damn even the dreamcast allowed internet browsing. Or maybe this is part of the "live anywhere" idea.
