I've heard a lot about Parks and Recreation being one of the best comedies out there, even though it has a mediocre first season.

I don't like not watching every episode in a series, but in this case, do you think Season 1 is bad enough to do it? Does Season 2 makes the relationships and plotlines set up by Season 1, known to the new viewer?

@Grand Kerfuffle Exactly. But given the time we had to wait for a good Batman game, I'm not keeping my hopes up on this one. Specially as the movie saga ends, and developers don't have the potential profit a new movie release brings.

Hopefully someone will do a great Harry Potter game sometime. Lego Harry Potter currently holds that title, and without doing much.

Andrew's argument that Harry Potter invented the midnight book release is true. It took, perhaps, until the fourth book to arrive. But the only reason Twilight ever got midnight release parties as well, was because of Potter. If people hadn't lined up for Potter, ever, nobody would've done the same for the Twilight series.

And cheers to the guys with the highest rated comments! I agree with you :) Hope to meet you randomly 50 years from now, and talk about Harry Potter, with the story engraved in our minds, and our children playing with each other, "shooting" spells.
