Fun WiiFanboy memories: bought SMG2 using the $10 gift card I got way back in '08 when they were selling Brawl for 20 bucks (http://nintendo.joystiq.com/2008/01/11/bargain-brawl-preorder-for-19-82/) and then canceled everybody's orders.

Ok so I read the review the day it was posted, but the throwaway line about the crappy ending did nothing to even begin preparing me for the crappiness of the ending. So the people whining about the "spoilers" should chill out. Especially since the rest of the game totally rocks, anyway.

so... this morning I read the forum at the other end of the source link, and the people in that thread seem like total douchebags. The thread was started by somebody who wasn't the one doing the artwork, and then people heaped on tons of requests like it was no big thing for an artist to just crank out these things by the fifty-fold.

It's that kind of stuff that makes me glad forums stopped being "cool" like ten years ago.

On a less judgmental note, the artwork is really nice. I'm sure by the time the game is released people will be expecting these characters to be hidden in the game somewhere.

I never noticed how similar the DSi camera function is to the Game Boy Camera thing they released ages ago... until I saw this exact same kitten whisker business.

I was on the fence about getting a DSi, but now I feel more comfortable not getting one.
