Jan 29th 2012 8:09AM (Joystiq)ESA withdraws support for SOPA
Jan 20th 2012 4:40PM (Joystiq)I've always been that jerk. This is the first time I did anything. I think it comes in time, as you see more crap slide by unnoticed (for instance, the NDAA)

Jan 20th 2012 4:23PM (Joystiq)We're not 'blacking out' today (but we still don't like SOPA)
Jan 18th 2012 9:30AM (Joystiq)Some major supporters have pulled out, but still, SOPA and PIPA are alive. As long as major companies can pay congresspeople to vote in their favor, there will always be another SOPA or PIPA. The supporters of these bills would not stop pushing it if they felt secure in their investments, and neither should the opposition.

Jan 14th 2012 11:47PM (Joystiq)Best Buy: Buy two, get two used games
Jan 9th 2012 1:23PM (Joystiq)They claim that they lose more money from the pre-owned market rather than from piracy. This makes a certain sense, in that a customer purchasing a pre-owned game is a customer that was prepared to pay for an item (money that would have gone to the developer) while a baby pirate typically would not spend money on all the games they acquire. Fiscally speaking, developers and publishers likely do suffer more thanks to the used game market rather than software piracy. (None of what just said was meant to attack you, by the way. The following, however, is.)
Your comment and references, while a valid point (selling used games =/= piracy), is not related to the topic of this article. I wonder why you would go to the effort to make this argument. It seems as pointless as disagreeing with some troll on the internet.
Dammit...
