@chrispy145 Definitely play through the originals. With HD mods you can get it looking great on modern PCs and they're still just as good as ever. Those Infinity Engine games have aged like fine wine.

If this game doesn't feature plenty of rope I will be forced to consider it a failure.

I feel so happy for everyone that purchased this for they have learned a lesson my father has been trying to instill upon me my entire life. That lesson being the value of a dollar.

@iceveiled I've been playing video games for over two decades on consoles and PCs and have cared about texture resolution approximately zero times. All this wankery over marginal increases visual fidelity is something that modern PC gamers feel like they have to wave around in order to demonstrate their superiority. People that play video games primarily on a console are the ones that don't care in the slightest. There's no jealousy from "console gamers," only showboating from "PC gamers."

Fact is, there has never been a better time to love video games and own a great, gaming PC. With distributors like Steam and GOG, et al, providing amazing games at rock bottom prices and with even low end PC hardware greatly eclipsing the tired, aging consoles. That doesn't change the fact that this is a 100% pointless "upgrade" and if anybody legitimately gets excited over this they are the ones with the problem.

PC gamers popping trouser tents over marginal visual upgrade? Have fun with that fellas.

If I don't get Saint's Row 4 through Infinity someone is going to have to answer.

I fully blame Nintendo for this. Nintendo keeps filling the industry's collective heads with the idea that people want more gimmicky controller junk so now we have useless devices like Move, Kinect and uDraw out there doing very little for the industry and in this case sinking a publisher that was finally starting to come into its own and release some damn good games.

Motion gaming is a gimmick! It'll be gone faster than 3D (3D is still around isn't it?)
