At the Source, during Christmas 08, we sold the slow-moving hexbug, and we sold a lot.
Then last christmas we got the fast moving ones, and we sold even more. We sold more hexbug/ants than anything else in the store, good stocking stuffers and little gifts.

I bought one for my cat, but the bug just runs in to him, the goes the other way and back and forth, my cat doesn't seem impressed.

What?!? why does her outfit look like the male counterpart, and not just a skimpy skirt, and a breastplate barely covering her boobs? Everyone knows real women fight in stripper clothes.

c'mon... no whammies.

It's advertising by Bell, and it's in the same style as their whole redesigned look and advertising. Go to their website, or look at some of their other ads.

And like said before, showing the phone close up is a pretty good way to show what the phone can do, instead of some hip people using it, the phone being used as a sword, a random U2 song being played live, etc.

It's RCA. Which, if I had more time, would make some clever acronym using the letters about how bad they are. But most of their stuff is cheap and will last about 6 months.

It's nice that it's small, but I find it kinda awkward to use, I'd rather just spend 2 or 3 benjamins and get a good point and shoot with HD video.

hmv probably has the best sales, the dark night dvd for $10, and 300 in blu ray for the same price, are some other good sales from this place.

the source stores and the parent company, intertan are turning a profit. It would be kind of stupid to close a company that is making money. Plus, what other electronic company has 700+ stores accross canada, including markets where there wouldn't be a best buy or futureshop for miles. and a lot of source stores provide better customer service and even prices than a lot of hte other places.

yes, there is a high markup on cables, just like anywhere else other than a dollar store.

Intertan (the source's parent company) is doing pretty good.
But I heard there were auditors in our stores, our spending accounts have been frozen (I had to cut back on employee hours because of it) but I haven't heard of any rumors of store closures, just that we might be bought out. Or regional vice president (I guess 3 from the top of the chain) said things are OK on our end, and I think he said exciting things are happening.
But hell, that could all change. Linen n' things is closing down up in canada and apparently they were doing well, and in this economy, from what i've heard, companies don't like to buyout other companies.

I'm at work right now, and I have about 16 different digital picture frames behind me (not including the keychain ones) and I agree, they are not that interesting. They will sell well during christmas (like last year), but no one wants one that can connect to the internet to download pictures, or anything other than cycle pictures that are on the internal memory card or the sd card.

though, i really do like the sony one we carry, very nice quality dispaly.

Good thing there are three Friday paydays this month!
But I already pre-ordered LBP
Will probably get fable 2
will buy fallout 3 (not sure for what system)
and maybe later in the year pickup dead space and motorstorm

It kind of sucks having a short attention span, I haven't even finished any of the games I already have on my 3 consoles, plus psp and PC.
